Walker Courier - Frequently Asked Questions

After using the phone application WhenIWork to determine your Truck #(1-10), you will check the #walkers chat on Discord for the closest cross-street. This location will be in Midtown Manhattan, and be between 35th-59th street, and 5th-12th Ave. Report to that location at 11AM. 

Shifts must be dropped 24 hours in advance. Use the phone application WhenIWork and navigate to your scheduled shift. Click the green “Drop” button. If your shift-drop is approved by management, it will be opened up to the rest of the company and filled by another Walking Courier. If your shift-drop is not approved, you must report to work and are responsible for your shift as originally scheduled.

Walker Couriers who score Great or Fantastic on their Weekly Scorecard, have consistent attendance, and who perform to SOP are prioritized when assigning additional days on the schedule. If you are seeking more days, let your lead know.  

 A Scorecard is a progress report of your overall performance for the week. The Scorecard has four possible tiers, (Fantastic, Great, Fair, and Poor.) If you would like to know your scorecard please reach out to your Team Leads and Walker Trainer. The frequency on which the Scorecard updates is usually every Wednesday. 

After your second day of ORE Training, you will receive a phone call from our hiring team to determine your start date.  

Make sure your phone applications are onboarded. This means accepting the ADP, WhenIWork, and Discord invitation to our server. You will also receive a 4-Digit ADP code for on-site punching in. 

It is a two-day paid training course. The first day is an in-class course in Midtown Manhattan. You must pass the test at the end of this class, as it qualifies you for Day 2, which is a shadow shift. On Day 2, pre-download the learning app on your phone before reporting to the jobsite that day. Your training pay will appear on your second paycheck.
