 Experience is preferred, but not required. If your resume demonstrates strong potential, we’re happy to cover the cost of your DOT registration to help you get started.

After signing the offer letter, the applicant must pass a standard 5 panel drug test, complete the required J.J. Keller training and successfully perform a road test. During this time, the hiring team creates the applicant’s company email, and they are officially added to the active schedule to begin work. Puleri Logistics will cover all standard training costs associated with J.J. Keller training processes. 

 You’ll need to install and become familiar with the following apps:

• Discord
• Truck Maps

Training takes a minimum of 4 days. You’ll do ride-alongs with a trainer. Based on your performance and their review, you’ll move on to independent driving.

Our service area includes:

• South Delaware
• Upstate New York
• Connecticut
• Midtown Manhattan
• The broader Tri-State Area

 Most shifts are a minimum of 10 hours, which is typical for this role. The actual shift length can vary based on the route and circumstances, so please come prepared for flexibility. 

• Communicate with dispatch to confirm your start time. 
• Arrive 30 minutes early.
• Meet with your trainer and complete a pre-trip inspection.
• Head to the distribution facility, receive your dispatch sheet, and load carts.
• Drive to the anchor point in Midtown Manhattan.
• Distribute packages to walkers.
• After deliveries, return to NJ, unload returns and equipment at distribution facility, and return the truck to the yard.

• Communicate with dispatch to confirm your start time. 
• Show up 30 minutes early.
• Meet with your trainer and complete a pre-trip inspection.
• Drive to the distribution facility and receive routes. 
• Pick up packages and load the truck.
• Deliver to assigned postal locations. 
• Drop off packages throughout route.
• Return to the yard, perform a post-trip inspection, and clock out.

• Communicate with your trainer to confirm your start time. 
• Arrive 30 minutes early.
• Meet with your trainer and complete a pre-trip inspection.
• Drive 1.5 hours to the distribution facility, receive routes.
• Load up, and deliver to organizations or businesses.
• Return to the yard and complete a post-trip inspection.
